The Damage.

Well I managed (with a little help from a friend) to get the car to a garage. The total estimate for the repairs is $520, bear in mind the car worked one day and then without reason failed the next. I like to consider my self somewhat of an analytic but the reason for such an explainable and seemingly random failure escapes me. Maybe that is why this whole ordeal bugs me so much. I wonder if the people who designed this car ever thought someone might want to know a little more information about the current status of the car other than the speed and odometer reading. I guess Oldsmobile just makes cars that are so advanced they do not need such unnecessary “luxuries”. So, after buying a new cell phone ($150) and agreeing to let the garage do $383 dollars of the total $520 in repairs, this has shaped up to be an expensive weekend. (Sorry Liz, no more Christmas presents)
